I was supposed to deliver the keynote address (and a clinic) at the 7th annual meet of the Railway Modellers of British Columbia next month – but then the coronavirus turned everybody’s world upside down.
However – and this is really cool – the committee has decided to forge ahead with a virtual meet, using the Zoom online collaboration tool as the platform. (Kudos to the committee for harnessing technology and putting their convention online – if anybody can do that, it has to be railway modellers…)
The virtual meet will take place over four Thursday evenings starting May 21st, with two presentations per evening. I’m keen to participate and I’m discussing how to do so with the organizers.
