I’m tidying up my online life, and one of the things I need to address is The Model Railway Show podcast and its associated website. The website costs me money to continue to maintain – quite a bit each year, actually. In addition, it gets positively flooded with spam, which takes considerable time to clear. I have several spam blockers and they’re mostly effective but they still only put it into a separate folder where I have to wade through the messages.
So at some point the website is going to disappear.
I have already pulled down all my personal blogs that were run in the background on that website – including the old Port Rowan in 1:64, Achievable Layouts (about layout design), Niagara Electrics (on the NS&T), and Adventures in Live Steam. They were also major sources of spam.
I have saved all the posts, however – and as time permits, I will create new posts out of some of that information and share them here.
Stay tuned…
